 I suppose that as Podevin is not a common surname there may be some chance of us being (very) distantly related! Also, my father was William Brian Podevin, and my brother is also a William Podevin, so it's interesting to hear of a William Podevin in the past! I see that you have traced Podevins through the alternative spelling of Pudwine, whereas my ancestors must have retained the spelling Podevin.

Just thought you might be interested to hear from a modern Podevin!
