Although we have traced Ann Slade , born Wellington Somerset 1796, and branches of her family were from there and surrounding parishes from about 1600, we have not really got much further with William. By 1841 Ann is widowed, living in London wih her children, and also her father James Slade. We (A group of "cousins") had found their marriage cert from Albury, but little else about William- we haven't managed to locate a death cert yet!!

It was a delightful surprise fo one "cousin" to happen across the extract from your book on line- an find "our William and Ann. Anything you know about william and Ann - and her time in Albury- would be of graet interest to us.
